The theater was built in honor of the great tragic poet Euripides, who had his retreat in the Peristeria area of ​​the island. It is located on the "Patris" hill and has a capacity of about 3000 seats.
Events are held, mainly during the summer, such as large concerts, theatrical performances and cultural events. Access is by car or on foot.
